EDEN is always capitalized when written for unknown reasons; record simply use it everywhere. Since no one is around to be picky, it's up to the individual what to make of it as of now. The scope of history is limited, as well. What is known is that mankind settled down on EDEN, but anything before that is in the shade, as is everything up until the point that is today. Remains of mankind recently came to consciousness, finding themselves mostly in vast cities. However, their environments are largely in ruins. With little functional technology remaining the humans banded together. War broke out at this point between factions for as many reasons as there are reasons to live, but a clear victor eventually emerged. It had either absorbed or destroyed the other factions. HOPE started as a band of friends, but it is currently the largest with over five thousand members. These are largely peaceful people and are found trying to settle down in and restore New EDEN, one of the cities where mankind initially found themselves in. There are numerous tribes of people, but they are spread far and wide, not to mention largely peaceful. Occasional conflicts spark, but fearing retribution from larger tribes they calm quickly. Now HOPE has a fresh enemy however, this time in VARL. Who or what VARL is is unknown, but it employs the use of EVE. EVE are mechanical beasts, ranging from the simplest forms to sometimes giant machines of doom! |
